Scanning My Jo Morton Fabrics for EQ6

I have finally started scanning my Jo Morton fabric lines for EQ6!. I have scanned Covey Toile, Cocoa Express, Ravenwood and Indigo Berries and have the swatches prepared for the Covey Toile, Cocoa Express and Ravenwood. Before I proceeded further, I uploaded the Cocoa Express and Ravenwood swatches to do a block test and here is the result...
I wanted to do a quick visual and measurement test to see if the fabric displayed in EQ6 is in correct proportion to each other and to the actual fabric and it is perfect! I am so impressed. Kudos to The Electric Quilt Company for such great software! Of course, I was following my own scanning instructions - guess I can pat myself on the back, too...LOL!.

(The Cocoa Express block is 8" x  8" and the Ravenwood block is 10" x 10" which is why the fabric prints are displaying differently size-wise between the two blocks.)

Web Images - Editing Quilt Photos Part 2

It is time to further explore how to fix up those less then perfect quilt photos for our blog and websites. In Part 2 of 'Web Images - Editing Quilt Photos', you will be introduced  to three new editing tools: the Clone Brush, the Freehand Selection tool and the Lighten/Darken Brush. You might like to take a few minutes to re-read Part 1 as we will be using the tools introduced in that tutorial, again. After refreshing your memory, look for one of your own quilt photos that is slightly askew, with a bit of ripple causing a darker area relative to the rest of the quilt that you can work on as you follow this tutorial.
