When I was first setting up the Three Ducks blog, I noticed there was a gadget you could add called 'Followers.' I didn't add it initially; however, when I noticed the feature on other blogs, I went back into layout and added this gadget. I have to confess, I have meant to but haven't gotten around to understanding how this gadget works.I am thrilled to see my 'Followers' growing but am feeling very guilty that I have not acknowledged each and every one of you personally. I have however quickly visited your own blogs and am so impressed by what I see and have read. In time, I hope to send an email to let you know that I so happy that you find the Three Ducks blog worthy to follow.
I was wondering if someone might give me a quick explanation of the 'Followers' gadget and let me know what happens if I become a member, too. TIA!

As I see it a follower is notified every time a new blog posting is uploaded on the blog they signed up to follow...
I don't believe that is correct. I follow quite a few blog and have never been notified when a new one is posted.
What I would like to know is how do you post your picture on the "followers". Mine is only a profile.

Looks like we need 'a hand' someone 'in the know' to explain the 'ins & outs' of being a 'follower'...LOL
