It is possible some visitors to Three Ducks may be asking themselves, "Why is she doing this?" So, I thought I would share with you some of the reasons why. To begin with, it makes good business sense. There is a great deal of competition on the internet and it is growing by leaps and bounds every year. If you research internet marketing, one thing stressed is that if you have a skill or knowledge that may be of interest to others then share it especially if that skill or knowledge relates to the product(s) you are selling.

Merry Christmas one and all
I would like to wish everyone visiting Three Ducks a very, Merry Christmas and Happiest of Holiday Seasons! I would also like to share with you a present I have received from my Mom.
I heard a great deal about this quilt as my Mom was making it; so, it was an incredible surprise to open the box and find she had sent it to me. I will tell you more about this beautiful quilt in a later post. In the meantime, have a safe and happy holiday with your loved ones.

EQ6 & PSP - Creating Web Images Part 2
In Part 2 of this tutorial, we are going to step back and take a closer look at Paint Shop Pro itself. In my 'Scanning Fabrics for EQ6' tutorial, we used a number of tools that we are also going to be using when creating web images. In that first tutorial, you learned where to find those tools. Now, we are going to create short cuts in PSP that will speed up the whole process and you should be able to do the same if you are using Adobe's Photoshop or Photoshop Elements or The Gimp (see Scanning Fabrics Intro).Wednesday, December 23, 2009
EQ6 & PSP - Creating Web Images Part 1
If you have explored EQ6's block library, you may have recognized my 'Season's Greetings' angel which I placed on this blog and on the shopping cart home page - yes, it is an EQ6 block! I thought that after my 'Scanning Fabrics' tutorial which I know was a bit of a slog you might like to have some fun making a 'Happy New Year' web image using both EQ6 and Paint Shop Pro (or other photo editing software). This way not only will you be creating an image for your blog or website, but you'll be using many of those PSP tools that were featured in that first tutorial. Sunday, December 20, 2009
Inkjet Fabric Sheets - Two Great Choices
Three Ducks has just received a new shipment of Jacquard Inkjet Fabric Sheets. I now have both the 10 pack Cotton and 10 pack Silk injet fabric sheets in stock. As well, there are two 30 pack Silk sheets available for purchase. The Jacquard ExtravOrganza 5 sheet pack has been restocked, too. This is a great product for art quilt projects where you want to create layers of images or printed texts. Not only can you use your inkjet printer, but you can also stamp or paint onto these sheer organza sheets.
With this new shipment, once again, you have a choice of two great products for your inkjet printing: EQ Printables & Jacquard. (Click 'Read more', for more information about these great products).
