Robyn Falloon - Quilt Designer

Recent visitors to my blog have shown a great deal of interest in my posting 'The Blessings Quilt'.  I have to thank Anne Reimer of Winnipeg, Manitoba for drawing my attention to this very talented Australian quilt designer.  I thought you might like to learn more about Robyn Falloon and see a larger picture of her gorgeous quilt.

Robyn hails from Essendon, Australia located near Melbourne. She specializes in needleturn appliqué and has been teaching this art for over 10 years. She has had her quilts exhibited in the UK, USA, Japan, France and, of course, Australia. Robyn has been featured many times in Australia's respected quilting magazines and, in fact, the picture you see above was from a recent production shoot for 'Quilters Companion' magazine. Quilters Companion includes an instructional DVD with each release and Robyn will be sharing her Needleturn Appliqué Technique with readers in a future edition.
